November drifts into The Nautilus with an invitation to follow your curiosity. Days remain beautifully unscripted, leaving you free to discover something new, gather around the table or simply surrender to the rhythm of island life.
This month brings inspiring culinary encounters, meaningful experiences and moments worth celebrating at our private island in the Maldives. From the artistry of pâtisserie to planting something that will grow long after you leave, November is yours to shape entirely as you wish.
Discover the art of pâtisserie
From 7 to 12 November, award-winning pastry chef Elena Nabiullina joins The Nautilus for an intimate Masters for Masters residency, bringing her distinctive creative expression to our island. Guests can discover the artistry behind her pâtisserie and join a hands-on masterclass, exploring the craft, textures and flavours that shape her creations. It is an opportunity to learn from a master, then savour the results in the unhurried spirit of The Nautilus.
Gather around the Chef’s Table
Some journeys are best taken around a table. Our intimate Chef’s Table experiences explore culinary stories through flavour, including an encounter where Japanese and Spanish influences meet and another inspired by the traditions of Sri Lankan cuisine. It is another expression of unscripted dining at the Nautilus, where appetite rather than convention leads the way.
Share something meaningful
For families, November offers an opportunity to step into the kitchen and discover Maldivian cuisine together. Prepare and taste island flavours side by side during a family cooking class, taking the time to learn, laugh and create something of your own. These are the simple experiences that often stay with us longest, becoming part of the story of a family holiday in the Maldives. Beyond the kitchen, families can also leave something living behind. Plant coral beneath the surrounding waters or a coconut tree on our shores, creating a connection to the island that continues to grow.
Set within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, The Nautilus is surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty. Planting something here offers a gentle way to become part of its continuing story.
A recognition close to our hearts
This November also gives us something rather special to celebrate. The Nautilus has been named sixth among the best resorts in the Indian Ocean in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026. Chosen by readers who have experienced our island for themselves, the recognition celebrates the stays and memories created on our shores. For our intimate private island resort in the Maldives, this recognition is one we share with every guest who has made The Nautilus part of their own story.
Glimpses of what lies ahead
As November unfolds, anticipation begins to build for the celebrations still to come. Valentine’s at The Nautilus will invite couples to Love Freely, with the time and space to be together entirely as they wish. Wake slowly, explore beneath the surface, escape to a secluded sandbank or linger over dinner beneath the stars. Before then comes Bohemian Odyssey, our festive celebration of curiosity, creative expression and free-spirited discovery. Music, flavour and unscripted experiences will carry us through the final days of the year before we welcome 2027 beneath the Maldivian sky.
November, entirely your own
November at The Nautilus unfolds without expectation, leaving you free to follow the moment wherever it leads. Follow a flavour, learn something new, leave something growing behind or simply allow the day to take you somewhere unexpected. Here, every moment remains yours.
