This November, The Nautilus Maldives welcomes award-winning pastry chef and CREAMO founder Elena Nabiulina for an intimate Masters for Masters residency dedicated to the art of contemporary pâtisserie.
From 6 to 12 November, Elena brings her creative world to our private island home, inviting guests to discover the imagination, precision and artistry behind her signature desserts.
A Master of Her Craft
Elena’s passion for pâtisserie began in her mother’s kitchen and has since taken her from Moscow to Paris, Dubai and France in pursuit of her craft.
Her journey has included training with some of the world’s most celebrated names in pâtisserie, including Cédric Grolet, Ramon Morato, Jordi Bordas and Karim Bourgi, alongside specialist studies at Valrhona’s private school in Dubai and Carpigiani Gelato University.
Named Pastry Chef of the Year 2024 by WHERETOEAT, Elena has contributed to more than 14 restaurant openings and founded CREAMO, her artisanal gelato brand. Her creations are shaped by contemporary techniques, unexpected flavours and a thoughtful interplay of texture and presentation.
