This October, The Nautilus welcomes acclaimed British painter Phoebe Dickinson for an intimate Artist in Residence programme on the shores of Baa Atoll.
Drawing upon the light, colour and natural beauty of the Maldives, Phoebe will create original works throughout her stay, turning moments and landscapes from the island into paintings shaped by her distinctive eye. Guests are invited to witness the residency unfold and take part in creative experiences inspired by The Nautilus’ Art of Bohemia.
The residency continues the island’s Masters for Masters creative calendar, a celebration of individuality, imagination and the freedom to create.
Meet Phoebe
Phoebe is a celebrated British painter recognised for her portraits, landscapes and still lifes. She has held six solo exhibitions across London and New York and exhibited five times at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition. Her work has received honours including the Royal Society of Portrait Painters’ RP Award and a Certificate of Excellence from the Portrait Society of America, with paintings held in collections including Houghton Hall, Daylesford House, Belvoir Castle and Blenheim Palace.
